The private consultation
We begin with the individual, never a catalog number. Inspiration may take the form of saved imagery, a favored diamond shape, an inherited stone, an investment range, or simply an atmosphere the ring should convey. Lifestyle, proportion, wedding-band fit, timing, and the details of the proposal are considered from the outset.
Curating the center stone
A focused selection of natural or laboratory-grown diamonds is assembled around the qualities most meaningful to you. Silhouette, light performance, face-up presence, color, clarity, documentation, and harmony with the intended setting all inform our recommendation.
Design development and approval
Metal, profile, band width, setting height, prong architecture, side details, and personal elements are brought into proportion. Depending upon the commission, drawings or a digital model may be presented before production. Refinement at this stage ensures confidence in the final composition.
Craftsmanship, setting, and finish
Following approval, the design enters production. Stones are secured with precision, surfaces and edges are resolved by hand, and the piece is polished and examined from every perspective. A rendering expresses intention; the bench gives that intention permanence, comfort, and grace.
Final inspection and presentation
Security, symmetry, finish, and fit are examined before the ring is presented. Our relationship continues beyond the proposal through sizing, wedding-band planning, routine care, and future service.
The schedule reflects design complexity, stone sourcing, and season. Sharing an intended proposal date during the first consultation allows us to establish a thoughtful and realistic path.
Preparing for your consultation
Bring anything that communicates your point of view: saved imagery, observations about personal style, a known ring size, a preferred metal, an heirloom stone, or examples of what does not feel right. Arriving with none of these is equally welcome. Discovering the right questions is part of the bespoke experience.
